Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • 2 small shallots, minced

  • 1 pound fresh green beans 

  • salt & pepper, to taste

  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice

  • 1 tablespoon water

  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Preparation

  • Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the shallots and cook for 1-2 minutes. 

  • Add the green beans and 1 tablespoon of water to the pan. Cover and cook, stirring every couple of minutes, until green beans are tender, about 6-8 minutes. 

  • Stir in the lemon juice, salt and pepper.

  • Sprinkle with chopped  fresh parsley and salt & pepper, to taste. Serve immediately.
