Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter
2 small shallots, minced
1 pound fresh green beans
salt & pepper, to taste
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon water
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Preparation
Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the shallots and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Add the green beans and 1 tablespoon of water to the pan. Cover and cook, stirring every couple of minutes, until green beans are tender, about 6-8 minutes.
Stir in the lemon juice, salt and pepper.
Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley and salt & pepper, to taste. Serve immediately.
